In the past couple of years, I've made a goal for reading throughout the year. Honestly, I love to read, but with a little around, sometimes it's hard to do. In 2008 & 2009, my goal was 50 books in a year. I didn't succeed in 2009, so for 2010, I dropped it down to 25. Unfortunately, I didn't do a proper job of keeping track, so I'm not sure if I succeeded.
This year, I'm keeping the goal at 25 & I'm going to keep track on here, so hopefully I'll stick with it. I finished my first book today & so begins the list.
I've also found that having a Nook has successfully upped my ability to read with B around. Because I can hold it one handed & turn the page with the click of a button, rather than stumbly one handed fingers turning while holding... trying not to drop it on his head while we're snuggling.
I'm excited for the next 24 books & would love to hear any recommendations!

I loved House Rules! What did you think? I just read Salem Falls and that was really good. Keeping Faith was also good. I really like any books by Danielle Steel, trying to think of ones I've read lately though.

I have that book but haven't read it yet. Was it good? I just read "The Late Lamented Molly Marx" which was okay, but not great. I would totall recommend anything by Philippa Gregory. "The White Queen" "The Red Queen," "The Constant Princess," "The Other Boleyn Girl," etc. All the books I've read by her are great. I am looking forward to seeing what you read. And I totally agree that having a Kindle (which I got for Christmas) has made reading so much easier!
Art of Racing in The Rain and Water for Elephants have been favorites. I also read Midwives over the Holidays and enjoyed it too!
