lately i'm yearning for fall. seriously. it's not because i'm not loving the summer- i am! the weather is gorgeous ... we've been spending a lot of time outside, we're all tan (amazing!), we're enjoying afternoons at the park, days at the zoo... the list goes on & on.
and yet... there's just something about fall. the crispness in the air. the crunchy yellow & orange leaves. pumpkin spice candles. the cool evenings around a fire pit. hayrack rides with hot chocolate & peppermint schnapps. and my most favorite- back to school!
i fully blame target for this fall yearning. you see, a couple weeks ago i was looking for lawn chairs for our camping trip this past weekend & as we made our way to the back of the store- to the seasonal section. imagine my surprise when i saw school supplies taking over the summer seasonal section! i love, love, love school supplies. seriously, LOVE. fresh paper, new pens, new day planner. oh my gosh. i got my new planner last week & it's already full of color & full of plans!
on another note, i'm back & forth on the decision to go back to school to get an education degree. clearly, i would love the idea of going back to school every year for the rest of my life- i'd get to buy school supplies forever! how awesome would that be?!

I'll take the school supplies without the "school" anyday ;-)
My Mom and I were at Babies R Us on Saturday and they had school supplies out and I was telling her how I can't wait to buy school supplies for Joslyn. I remember how excited I got when we went shopping for mine. I would run home and organize my pencil case and binders :-)
That is so funny! I hated buying school supplies! But I did notice them today at the grocery store.
I cannot wait for my first fall in three years!!! I am so super excited I can barely stand the wait.
And now fall is all I can think about. I just got this super comfy, cute boyfriend style shirt from Gap.com and I'm LONGING to wear it. Fall can seriously not come soon enough.
I'm a stationary/supply whore! I could spend HOURS at Office Depot/Max and just oogle the pens and post-its... weird, I know :p If you have the time, I say GO FOR IT! Go back to school! I wish I had the time to do it!
